Mornings would be great if they weren’t so damn early. This morning I sat at the island in my kitchen, drinking coffee and watching my children interact. As I downed my Nectar of the Gods, made by my loving husband and coffee aficionado John, I got to revel in the glory of the moment that only parents can understand. It was one of those touching moments… when your older child takes your younger children by the proverbial hand and gently pulls them down the road to knowlege. Heartwarming I tell ya.

Noah was talking about wedgies. Not just any wedgies, but he has lumped in Atomic Wedgies into a group. Sorta like saying all Mac n Cheese is KRAFT Mac n Cheese. Eeeeek!!!! But oh no, his loving six year old sister Emma wasn’t going to let him remain uneducated. Oh no. She gently corrected my 3 year old son’s faux pas by explaining with a small demonstration that an Atomic Wedgie was a type of wedgie where the user pulls the pants not only up someone’s butt, but pull them OVER the head so they can SMELL their underwear. That, is an ATOMIC wedgie. Wow. What a moment.

You know… if I didn’t have kids I wouldn’t have these magical educational moments at 7 something in the morning.
