This is the type of parental wisdom that you acquire with experience and multiple children. Hard to describe or put into words so I’ll just demonstrate the subtleness of it by relating an example:

When Dinara says “Mommy watch me do this” it’s usually something that will strike pride in my heart.

When I overhear Dinara ask her brother or sister to “watch me do this” it’s usually something that will strike fear in my heart.

I keep reminding myself that this is a subtle nuance of parental wisdom I would miss out on if I only had one child.
