You probably can’t see it from where you are at but my eyes are glazed over. I have spent the last six hours intensively grilling prepping my husband for an interview tomorrow. Yee Gad, I’m tired. I can just imagine how he feels.

We have spent the day:

1. Going over the most common 250 interview questions
2. Picking out and refining situations for him to describe that show how he was persuasive, a creative problem solver, effectively built consensus, showed his achievements.
3. Developing a 60 second “sell” spiel on why he’s perfect for the job.
4. Working on interpersonal skills like eye contact and active listening
5. Developing a list of questions for him to ask
6. Contacting five references and prepping them on what to say if contacted
7. Picking out and ironing an appropriate interview outfit

It’s only 3pm here and we have several more hours to go. If you can send up a little prayer that he gets this job, we’d be grateful. I think if I have to go through this again we’ll implode or perhaps just divorce. That might be easier.
