My very oldest and bestest friend from college called me today. She emailed me the other day to find out if my family was ok. It’s been many years and we had fallen out of touch for reasons that just don’t seem all that important anymore with the distance of time. It was so wonderful to talk to her. We talked for hours. And you know, it was just like old times. I just know if she were here in Seattle with me we would have stayed up half the night catching up with a bottle of wine and lots of laughter. Someday soon we will in person!

I don’t know if she is going to read my blog regularly…but I want her to know that speaking with her today was one of the highlights of my month. So if you are reading this Y. - thanks for sending that email and picking up the phone. I love ya and I’m thrilled we connected again.
