This morning we went out to IHOP and had sunday breakfast. It was so yummy. And it was so nice to spend time together as a family.

And then I went to Costco and they had samples of the most yummy salsa called “Pennys”. Loved it! It takes so little to make me happy. I love it when Costco has great produce deals. 6 avacados for 5 bucks. Half dozen sweet peppers in red, orange and yellow. Big bin of my favorite salad mix. Beautiful vat of nectarines that are just gorgeous… couldn’t pass them up because I am mourning that the summer fruit season is coming to an end soon. And it’s not produce, but I picked up a big apple pie for dessert for this evening too!

And I bought some pork shoulder so I could make the Pork Chulupas I saw on Emeril’s show. Isn’t it funny how watching FoodTV inspires you to try new things?

Anyway… just a quiet Sunday here…
