We got back late last night from our whirlwind trip to Disney World sandwiched between hurricanes. We had an AWESOME time.

Two words that really were the icing on the cake: EMPTY PARKS.

John and I went to Disney World on our honeymoon. We are Disney Freaks. Through many dark days struggling with infertility we would lay spooned on the bed and talk about how awesome it was going to be to take our children to Disney World. It was our recurring comfort dream. And I have to admit, I was a wee bit worried that this dream vacation I planned wouldn’t hit the bar we had set in our own minds.

I need not have worried.

Magical. The whole thing. My kids were great. They were so excited. They were well behaved. Remember how I was stressed about them not getting enough sleep? They were troopers. Only a handful of meltdowns. Our “Magical Gathering” with our family was awesome. We always have such an awesome time with my cousin, her husband and their kids.

I’m wiped out but smiling. We created some wonderful memories. The kids were just enthralled with the whole experience and it was so totally worth it. I’ll write more about our experiences soon…

I’m digging out behind mountains of dirty laundry…but I am one happy Mommy. We really did have the dream vacation. It was wonderful. I want this high to *last*. Does anyone know the trick?
