Yesterday I think I should have bought a lottery ticket.

Dinara found an emerald ring I had lost when Emma was 15 months old. Considering that Emma is now 7 1/2, I was pretty surprised to see it turn up. We’ve even moved to a new house since I lost it! It turned up in NOah’s room under an old lazyboy rocking chair. I guess when I moved the chair last week to vacuum it must have shook loose. Strange it didn’t shake loose during the move. Isn’t it weird how something can be gone for all that time then just show up? I can’t even begin to tell you how long I looked for that ring … just gave it up for lost. Now here it is.

Tonight is a PTA general meeting. I don’t want to go. I want to stay at home and watch the debates.

Kids have that coxsackie virus. Noah is pretty miserable. Dinara is fighting it off but she has a few spots. Both kids stayed home from school today. I hate this virus. I wish there was a vaccine or something for it. Instead you just have to suffer through it.

Went to Costco this morning. I heart me some Costco shopping. Just love that place. Yes I spent over $400. Let’s not talk about that after my little self righteous money saving post yesterday ok? I got a really cute yoga/jogging outfit (not that I jog mind you, but they are so comfy!) for a steal. And some chocolate mint truffles… to balance out that whole jogging thing lest thoughts of potential exercise go to my head.

In fact I think I hear those truffles calling me now….
