Tonight is a perfect evening. Perfect in that I don’t have to scurry to go some where. I don’t have phone calls to return. I don’t have gifts to be wrapped for birthday parties tomorrow. We have no practices tonight or tomorrow. It was a beautiful sunny day in Seattle, I spent a nice afternoon with a friend chatting and being real, and I am going to get my kids to bed early (they are sick after all) and snuggle with my husband.

Sometimes life goes by so fast you have to slow yourself down and remind yourself why you are here.
