How do you teach 6 and 7 year olds that it’s better to fold up clean clothes they decided not to wear versus put them in the laundry hamper (or on the floor!). Because throwing them in the laundry is easier, that’s what my kids tend to do. So I need a good consequence for putting clean clothes in the laundry. Them doing the laundry isn’t an option. Or I need a different method. Sure I have told them over and over, but it just doesn’t seem to stick. Maybe someone who reads this blog will have some solutions.

Anyone have any suggestions? It doesn’t need to be a quick fix, but I need some way for them to see the natural consequences of creating DOUBLE the laundry.

Who says that stay at home mom’s don’t solve complex problems?
