Noah was up really early this morning. When my husband got up at 7am Noah was in the playroom watching TV. He told me he watched Winnie the Pooh, JoJo, another show he couldn’t remember and that House of Mouse didn’t come on. That means he was up at least at 6am. I got to buy that kid a clock and set the rule “no leaving bed till the first number says 7″.

Dinara is throwing a fit every morning because she wants me to make her lunch. She doesn’t want to buy it. She wants to bring it. There is no reasoning with her. Her sister then informed me that all but three kids in Kindergarten are bringing their lunch and so she feels left out. I am wondering if this is a good time to teach the whole “you don’t have to follow the crowd” or if I should just give in and make the damn lunches since it will save me money anyway.

Today was communication day for me. We are looking into refinancing our house in Florida so I spent time looking into mortgages. Spoke to our CPA about tax implications. I had to hassle the Claims representative AGAIN about our insurance check. He is going to call me back [I am so frustrated with him!]. We’ll see. I’m not holding my breath. I spoke to our mortgage company and found out how to get their endorsement on the check for the hurricane damage. I spoke to a woman who lives locally who might want to rent our house for a month in January. I emailed the people renting the house at Christmas to let them know the screen isn’t going to be fixed by Christmas and that I will give them a discount. I spoke with our representative about our new health insurance. I spoke to our current health insurance about a claim they tagged at 70% because there was no referral, but they were putting a cast on my son’s leg which would have been covered at 100% if his leg wasn’t swollen and needed to wait a week. They agreed so I saved 300 bucks. I also met with the Extended Class Chairs this morning to discuss PTSA liability. Fun Fun.

My parents are coming tomorrow. I doubt I will be blogging much while they are here. I don’t want them to know about my blog. So my blogging will be scarce. Just letting ya know. Keep your blogging expectations low.

We got invited to a cool party on Friday night by someone who “lives on the lake”. They are going to have a bonfire and make smores. I am wondering if I can bail on my parents for a few hours to go. They are “new friends” and I missed their last party and so I really need to make an appearance. I’m hoping my parents will be tired out. They go to bed early and they will be on East Coast time…so I am hoping we can pop over there for a few hours.

Ok… got to go find some place to rent a wheelchair for my mom.
