So today my girlfriends took me out to lunch at a swanky place I have never been before. Yummy food. Will have to go back.

We had a great waiter. He was cute. Had nice buns. (oh it never hurts to look!) Very attentive. He was one of those “chit-chatty” type waiters. Really talked up the menu, talked about different ways to cook things, was chatty about his hobbies, etc. He kept trying to get me to drink - not too odd since it was my birthday and I’m sure most people drink on their birthday. I’m not a big drinker and when I do drink, it’s usually wine or something frothy with a cute little umbrella. I declined the alcohol.

After lunch, when we were ordering dessert, he pushed the alcohol again in a very nice way. And then he went on to tell me how he had “had a good day” and please let him “buy me a drink”. No mention of my birthday… simply offered to buy me a drink and he didn’t buy anything for my friends either. He was such a cutie and figured what could it hurt? So I said ok. He asked me what I wanted and I said “I don’t know… you pick.”

So what did he bring me? A Buttery Nipple.

My question: Was he hitting on me? And if so, if the drink was a glass of wine would it still be hitting on me? Does the fact a stranger buys you a drink called a buttery nipple mean anything?

These are the things I think about.
