Don’t have time to post. I’m going shopping. I’m going to self medicate myself with some soothing retail therapy. I will ease my frugal guilt by buying things for the children that they need. Like clothing. Because the little buggers won’t stop growing. And I’m buying a shitload of socks and throwing out all the unmatched socks. Because my slightly neurotic need for organization can not take that we have half a freaking laundry basket full of unmatched socks. And we won’t even talk about the ones with some holes or the ones that are so dirty on the bottom of the foot that they wont even come clean with bleach because my kids must have been walking around outside with them because there is no way nothing is THAT dirty in my house. We are getting rid of those too. Yes… these are the delusions that go through my mind.
So back to shopping. I am going to go buy some clothes for myself because… why the hell not! I’m going to buy my kids some clothes because nothing is fitting. Especially Noah who I swear looks like he’s expecting a flood all the time. And I’m going to buy socks. Because I’m determined to solve our mismatched sock dilemma by buying only two colors of socks this time. Aren’t you glad I shared?
Honestly, what the hell was I whining about? Is this the post of a boring life? I tell ya, I create my own excitement wherever I go.

All the matches for your socks are at my house. I just can’t figure out how they got here. You might not want them back. My dogs have chewed holes in every one of them. I buy all the socks in our house, and still there are singles of socks I’ve never seen. How does this happen?

In a desperate effort to stop the basket diving for undies every morning, I have YET AGAIN sorted and put away laundry today…and…how long is it necessary to hang on to all these oddies before you are allowed to give up on the matches? HOW LONG!?

What is it with socks? My Noah can’t keep up with his. He is constantly wearing his dress socks with his tennis shoes because “I don’t have any” athletic socks. Hooey. I have been known to start from scratch in the sock department with the kids as well.
