Yep she’s sick
Posted by Kym under General
20 pts to Ben for guessing illness.
Dinara is sick. Poor kid. Very listless. Tummy stuff. Fever. Did I mention listless? It seems to be going around at school as several of her friends have been out with it over the past week. So we are spending a quiet day at home today. Noah is doting hand and foot on his sister. So much so that she’s getting a bit annoyed. I will actually try to clean this house in between snuggles. Lucky for us the Netflix Queue was chock full of kids movies in anticipation of Mid Winter Break. Dinara has put them into viewing priority.
You know, it’s not so much the dealing with a sick kid that I mind, it’s the anticipation that eats you up inside. The whole waiting for the other shoe to drop feeling of “who’s going to get it next?” It’s this sense of impending doom when you have more then one kidlet….

Yeah, I feel your pain. My whole house is on amoxicilin. at least it should kill everything at once. Enjoy your time with the kids and try to ward off the germs.

The easy answer to “who’s going to get it next” is simply “everyone in the house.”
Sorry the sicknesses have found their way to your house, I so never want to go through the last two weeks here ever again.

oh yeah…the whole dreaded wait for the other kids to get sick thing…major pain in the rear. If they time it right, you can end up with a whole MONTH of joy! ugh!
Hope she is well soon and the germs stay away from everyone else…just how CLOSE is Noah while he is doting…STAY AWAY noah!

Just got my daughter over the flu and now I get to watch my son try not to come down with it. Let’s all pray that MOMMY’S don’t get sick.

the waiting is as bad as the sick, i agree. i had winters where i begged the pediatrician to have amoxycillin pumped into the household water supply.
blessings, all around…

Ugh… I’m so sorry, Kym. We’ve been incredibly lucky (knock, knock, KNOCK!) this year with nothing worse than an occasional case of the sniffles. I hope that this doesn’t spread & that your sweet girl is feeling better soon. Till then, take advantage of all those extra snuggles. Hugs…

Anticipation about who will get it next is the worst - poartly bc you don’t want to be “it” but at the same time murphy’s law works in such a way that Dana won’t get fully better till she gives her sickness to someone else!
Hope she feels better soon.
