Noah has pinkeye. Lovely. We are washing hands like crazy and praying everyone else doesn’t get it. Cause you know, that’s how it goes when you have multiple kids. One gets something and you pray to the fairness gods that everyone else doens’t contract it. And then the sympathy pangs set in. My eyes started feeling itchy and weepy last night. Of course. But, I have determined this morning that it was all psychosomatic, thank goodness. So the other kids have been sworn off the Game Cube. Noah gets to play video games with Daddy today and contaminate the controllers. There is only so many times we can spray them with Lysol. We were supposed to go meet friends for an Egg Hunt this morning… but we nixed it last night when the eyes started gooping up. I hope they are having fun and didn’t get rained out. (Suprise! The weather sucks!)

So I’m taking advantage of the free day to do Dinara’s Mommy and Me day. Today Dinara gets mommy alone time. To talk about whatever she wants to talk about. I love these alone times with my kids. I’m taking her to get her nails done. Dinara has beautiful nails and loves to have them painted. We are going to go get a manicure and go out to lunch at the place of her choosing. We’ve never done a manicure before. She’s going to love it. We might go then to Target and let her pick out a new shirt or some other trinket. Then, we’ll swing by home later, pick up Emma and go see Ice Princess. Normally, the movie would also be alone mommy time, but Dinara wanted Emma to see it too, and decided it was fine if she went with us and sat in the dark as long as she didn’t talk. Ha! Fat chance kid, but it’s nice of you to offer.

Anyway, doesn’t that sound like a fun day?

Tonight… it’s all about Family Egg Coloring. Then after the kids are in bed, mommy and daddy will watch the last few episodes of Season 1 of Nip-Tuck. {*sniffle} I’m in mourning that it’s over and there is no Season 2 DVD’s out yet.
