Happy Birthday!
Posted by Kym under General
HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my sweet seven year old. She’s so excited that it’s her birthday. She opened one gift this morning and is patiently awaiting the arrival of her father so she can open the rest. Truthfully, I think daddy is just as excited as she is. Dinara is a dog lover and one of her gifts is a Ninetendo DS with this dog game. The software gives her a puppy and she gets to train it. I’m sure she will love it… or I should say her father is assured. Dinara is having a swim party on October 1st. So we’ll be celebrating again in a few weeks.
Today I went out to lunch with a friend I used to work with. She has since left the company too and we both enjoyed a lesuirely lunch catching up. It was interesting to hear her take on a bunch of different people and get caught up on the gossip. It really seems a lifetime ago I was working. I do not miss it at all. At some point I really think I’ll go back to work but right now I have to say I am just so happy not working in a corporate environment.
The weather is beautiful today. The sun is shining and there isn’t a cloud in the sky. It’s about 70 degrees and there is the slightest smell of Fall descending. There’s just a hint of crispness. I can’t wait for fall. It’s my favorite season.
My father had a sleep study and come to find out his apnea is so bad that his oxygen level was dropping below 70%. And my mom was wondering why he was sleeping so much.
My mom’s amputation is tomorrow. They are probably going to remove part of the foot. At this point it’s a wait and see game to see how much they will have to remove. The surgery itself isn’t technically difficult, it’s simply we hope it doesn’t stir up the osteomylitis. If you pray, prayers are appreciated.

Best wishes for your mom’s surgery and also for your dad and his sleep apnea. Is there anything they can do for him? And happy birthday to Dinara! I can’t believe she’s already 7!
Hugs!!!
