Ok at the risk of being mocked and considered a complete nut I am going to admit that I bought Tamiflu online. Turns out there is some evidence it’s starting to be transmitted human to human, it’s just not an efficient virus yet. But by the time we “realize” it’s efficient, it may be too late to do much about it. I’m figuring that there are several things that are happening that could possibly be the turning the point so I’m covering my bases. No need to over react, but having a plan is important to me. I’m one of those people who has to plan for the “just in case”. Not planning isn’t a choice for me. It’s like built into my DNA.

Since several people have asked me, you know who you are, here are some relevant articles that will scare the crap out of you. There are two in my post the other day….

This one is where they “think” it might be human to human transmission in January. But when I read this way back when, I was still comforted because “it wasn’t confirmed”. I just felt that I needed to be more aware and watch for more “clues” of a coming pandemic.

Now being called an epidemic in Jakarta. Yet another sign that it’s probably starting to transmit human to human because they can’t point to a source. Also, a side note from other reading is that of the 13 people in hospitals (there are varying reports) most are women… so you can pretty much assume that there are stoic men out there holded up at home and there are even more cases….

Tour Guide and Vendor are among the epidemic victims which again points to it spreading via casual contact. It’s not like they were petting the birds.

Stages of a Pandemic. I think we are moving into Phase 4. World Health Organization says we are still at stage 3.

Oh and this is the link I bought TamiFlu.
