I went ahead and took the plunge today and sealed the deal on my appliance lust. I bought a front loading combo. It’s so BIG! And PRETTY!

What sold me on the Kennmore HEt4 was the size of the drum, the way it could do it’s thing so quietly and with such power, and the fact that with the pedestal, it would be really tall. (Kennmore has a 15 inch pedestal with a cool pull out drawer thing to hold a laundry basket). Size, speed and height matter to me I guess. I’m a girl who knows what she likes - and I swear it wasn’t just how sexy it looked that sold me. I loved it for it’s insides. I’m not as shallow as I may seem.

Oh and to complete the whole whoring myself out analogy….. my town is offering me $160 in electric and water rebates for screwing over my old machine.

So I am fulfilling my laundry lust. I’ll “get it” tomorrow. I’m thirty eight years old and there are still things that happen in my life that thrill me.

I take my thrills where I can get them folks.
