Ooooh Today was productive.

First, I ran today. Along a “river”. It was 36 degrees and I froze my ass off. I kinda hoped that I would feel more “warm” now that I am not anemic. But I guess not. I mean I have pretty substantial layer of blubber on this body of mine… but my blood must rush to keep my core warm because my extremities feel like ice cubes when I run. I even bought some Nike running gloves and they are not warm enough.

Anyway, I ran 3.1 miles. Not too bad. I’m frustrated because running outside is so much slower then the treadmill or padded track. Seems like all the progress I made before is now being eaten away by slight elevation changes of asphalt that are kicking my *ass* phalt. :)

Enjoy versus endure Kym. Enjoy versus endure.

Amazingly though I do know I’m getting better. My last few runs haven’t hurt as much as my other runs. So maybe my body is finally adapting to the pounding.

Something is wrong my freakin’ Ipod. I ran sans tunes today and I did not like that! I need the distraction from all the whining in my head. I guess I have to take it to the Apple Store. I swear, if it’s toast, I don’t know what I am going to do. This is my second Ipod in 3 years and I’m not going to shell out more money on these things if they don’t hold up.

Here’s the list of things I got done today:

• Went to the library and got my books on running and dog showing/breeding.
• Tried to get an appointment to get my eyebrows waxed, but that didn’t work.
• Made an appointment with the dentist.
• Scrapbooked a little page from my friend’s new baby.
• Rescheduled my infusion.
• Went to Walgreens and got my new Vitamin D script.
• Went to the bank.
• Ordered Passport so I can eat my cheaply with my girlfriends.
• Ordered my car tabs.
• Got hubby to get me a new Insurance card.
• Confirmed our therapy appointment.
• Folded and put away a load of wash.
• Did two loads of wash.
• Straightened the downstairs.
• Started a turkey roast for dinner.
• Cursed myself for buying a tub of Cookie Dough.
• Picked up juice boxes I need for Halloween party tomorrow.
• Contacted Garmin about the heart rate monitor that doesn’t seem to be working right.
• And am now blogging!

Yay me! Emma has hip hop dance this afternoon (neighbor is taking her!) and I am going to take Noah for a much needed haircut I think.
