Christmas Purgatory
Posted by Kym under General
Ok.. so I think I’ve had only 2 days without a kid since before Thanksgiving. In that time, the mind comes up with lots of ideas on how to make life easier.
One idea came to me yesterday… a brilliant plan to get my two youngest to be more agreeable.
Kids go to this Santa website and instead of telling them they are on the “naughty list” or the “nice list” the site informs them that they are on the “maybe” list… A Christmas Purgatory if you will. What kid isn’t going to work their butt off to get onto the nice list a week before the loot hits? And what parent wouldn’t cough up a buck to get Johnny to stop poking his sister every 20 minutes? Thats the brilliance of my plan you see. Parents pay a buck for the Santa to give their kids a list of things they need to do to get onto the nice list
I’m just full of these ideas folks!

I think it’s a great idea. I’m getting tired of threatening to tell Santa that they’re not getting along well enough to get gifts. Mean mommy has been “ruining their days” — according to the 4 year old.
